Authorities release name of person who died in car fire over the weekend

WARRICK CO., Ind (WEHT) The Warrick County Coroner has identified the person who died in a car fire on Saturday.

The coroner’s office says Landon Hill, 24, of Elberfeld, died of smoke inhalation. A final report is pending toxicology results.

Authorities were called to the 6100 block of Meinert Road around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Upon arrival, first responders found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

Foul play is not suspected.
