The Indiana Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a barn fire that broke out Thursday morning in Warrick County.

It happened near the intersection of Elpers and Dale Roads.

Fire officials said the call came in at 5 a.m.

When crews arrived on scene, the barn was totally in flames.

Farm tractors inside the barn caught fire, as well as two semi trucks outside the barn.

The below freezing temperature wasn’t the only battle for firefighters.

They also had to bring in water to the scene because the nearest fire hydrant was two miles away.
