Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is tracking a bear in Hancock County.
A trail camera owned by Jeffrey Alan Boling captured the bear on Saturday.
According to Boling, the camera was set up at southern Hancock County in the area of Boling Chapel and Easton area.
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife said a bear has been spotted in Breckinridge County in the last week.
Officials believe it could be the same bear in Hancock County.
Fish and Wildlife said they believe another bear is currently in western Kentucky, spotted in Logan and Todd Counties.
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife said bears moving into western Kentucky is typical this time of year. From the summer into fall, younger male bears get kicked out of breeding range in the mountains of the state.
In August, officials confirmed a bear sighting in Muhlenberg County near Greenville.
In July 2016, a bear was spotted in Cloverport, before officials said it swam across the Ohio River into Indiana.
