KENTUCKY (WEHT) – A grudge match in the Kentucky Governor’s race is set for the Fancy Farm Picnic.
Andy Beshear and Matt Bevin will square off at the annual stump speaking event.
The two have pounded each other with verbal and legal jabs for more than three years.
The picnic traditionally serves as the launching pad for Kentucky’s fall campaign season.
Plenty of other subplots surround this year’s picnic taking place Saturday in Graves County.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell might even face taunts of “Moscow Mitch” from Democrats for his handling of election security legislation.
