Blood shortages down across western Kentucky

Red Cross Holding Blood Drive Monday_-775530975775931380

(WEHT) The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center says they are still 21 units shy of an adequate supply as blood drives continue in Owensboro and Hopkinsville Monday.

Monday’s drive at the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center’s location at 3015 Old Hartford Rd in Owensboro is scheduled to last until 5:30 p.m. More information on Monday’s blood drive and other scheduled blood drives can be found here.

The Red Cross is continuing their blood drive efforts in Evansville through April 3 at their location on Stockwell Rd. More information can be found here.
