MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) – The boil water advisory for Madisonville has been lifted.
The order was put in place Thursday morning due to a water main break near I-69.
However, the boil water advisory is still in effect for other areas in the county.
North Hopkins water district, Hanson, and Nebo still under the advisory.
Water distribution superintendent, Dennis Howe says the main was fixed and water levels are back to normal.
They’re also flushing air out or the system.
