Bond set for man accused of American Legion Post shooting

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Bond has been set at $10,000,000 for the man accused of shooting five people outside the American Legion Post in Evansville early Sunday morning.

Police say 37-year old Keymo Johnson was asked to leave the post on Chestnut Street after a fight.

The shooting happened outside the post.

Police say three of the people shot had serious injuries.

This is not Johnson’s first dealing with police.

Court records show he’s also faced drug charges, as well as charges of resisting law enforcement.

Johnson is due back in court on Thursday.
