EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The bond has been set for a man accused of trying to stab a passenger in his car.

Sean Keith is charged with attempted murder. His bond has been set to $250,000.

The incident happened on U.S. Highway 41, near Lynch Road in Evansville.

On Tuesday, police say Keith pulled his car over to try to stab 28-year-old Stephanie Marshall in the neck, then on his way to the hospital police pulled him over for reckless driving. That’s when police found the two with stab wounds.

Both were treated at an area hospital for their injuries.

Indiana State Police believe the two were arguing when he pulled over and took out the knife.

Keith is due back in court on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Keith is also facing kidnapping, criminal recklessness, aggravated battery, false informing, and criminal confinement. He also had a warrant out of Rush County for a probation violation.
