The City of Boonville is looking ahead to its own future.

The public is invited to give input as the city moves forward with the development of a comprehensive plan.

Boonville Mayor Charlie Wyatt says the city has experienced considerable change, and the pace of that change is accelerating.

Wyatt says that makes it more important than ever to frame a future which helps the community meet long term goals.

Residents can take part in the process in one of two ways.

A public meeting to discuss the comprehensive plan will be held at 6:30 Tuesday night at Boonville High School.

Additionally, an online survey is available for those interested in being heard.
