Monday marks the 25th anniversary of the C-130 crash in Evansville. The military aircraft was conducting routine takeoffs and landings, when it lost power and crashed into the JoJo’s restaurant and Drury Inn at Highway 41 and Lynch Rd.
All five crews members were killed, and 11 people died on the ground. The crash touched countless lives from first responders to hotel workers to the families of those people that were lost.
Brad Byrd talks with Evansville Fire Department Battalion Chief Dan Grimm who was one of the first responders on scene when the C-130 crash happened.
