A Morganfield, Kentucky, man accomplished one of the most dangerous feats in the world by climbing Mt. Everest. After two months away, Gary Ervin returned home on Friday.
Ervin’s climb was almost sidetracked when he had to fight altitude sickness and bad weather. Five climbers in his group of teams died trying to reach the summit. But Ervin made it within 200 steps of the summit and made it back down safely.
Brad Byrd sits down with Ervin to hear his incredible story of climbing the world’s tallest mountain and battling incredible odds and risks.
