Brewski makes its Evansville debut

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The marriage of two West Side favorites hits store shelves in Evansville. It’s called Brewski, which is Ski-infused beer.

There was a “Tap Take-over” party Monday at Doc’s bar on Stringtown Road to usher in the first day of Brewski sales in Evansville.

The beverage will also be available at several other restaurants and liquor stores in Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, Gibson, and Knox counties.

“The Ski-infused ale has somewhat of a shandy feel. If you’re looking for a Ski, it’s not gonna taste exactly like Ski. It’s infused with Ski,” said Matt Reinhart of Working Distributors.

“It’s better than I expected. You know, I’m not one of these people that likes craft beer. I don’t like to chew my beer. But this tastes very mild, and it’s tasty,” explains one taster.

“Evansville is a huge area. I mean, it’s Ski country. We have some of the biggest fans in Evansville. They’re so passionate about a lot of our products. We’re just really excited to finally be able to meet a lot of the people that have been clamoring for us,” said Keely Anderson with The Double Cola Company.

Brewski is already on store shelves in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Bowling Green, Kentucky.
