EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A common reason that a kid is a bully is because he or she lacks attention from a parent at home, therefore lashes out at other kids for attention.
This can include neglected children, children of divorced parents, or children with parents under the regular influence of drugs/alcohol.
Sometimes the bullying is subtle, sometimes it is online, and sometimes it is happening right out in the open so the bully can show off in front of others.
Eyewitness News’ Kelly Austin sat down with Deaconess Clinic’s Child Psychologist, Doctor Stacy Blankenbuehler to find out how to help your child if they are being bullied and what you should do if your child is the bully.
