FAIRFIELD, Ill. (WEHT) – An Illinois business owner is looking for a man he says stole a car from his Fairfield lot.

The owner says around 6:30 Sunday morning he found the office window broken.

He says a white 2012 Chevy Cruze with a noticeable dent in the front passenger side fender was stolen.

He also said a silver Kia Optima pulled into the lot and he thinks that was the car the suspect arrived in.

Illinois State Police say they spotted the vehicle Sunday in downtown Fairfield. They tried to pull the car over, but the driver drove off.
