OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – Students at a Daviess County school learned school bus safety from a special teacher on Monday.
Buster the Bus visited kindergarten and first grade classes at Burns Elementary.
The school bus robot taught children safety tips including safe ways to get on and off a bus.
They also practiced crossing in front of a school bus and what to do in emergencies.
Teachers said the training is required by the State Department of Education and kids must go through it four times a year.
