The Boonville-Warrick County Public Library closes early on Thursday night after a car crashed into the side of the building.

The Boonville Police Department says a driver was at the McDonald’s on Main St. when he for some reason lost consciousness. His car rolled down the hill, jumped several curbs, and crashed into two windows at the library.

The driver was taken to the hospital to be evaluated. No one inside the library was hurt.

The library has boarded up the windows and will evaluate the damage before reopening.
