The case of the 19-year-old man accused of killing a Webster County teen in a drunk driving crash now heads to the grand jury.

At a court hearing Thursday, a judge found probable cause for murder, wanton endangerment, and DUI charges.

The judge ruled Maxwell McMain will go before a Union County Grand Jury next month.

Kentucky State Police say McMain killed his passenger, 16-year-old Kaci Wood, in a crash on SR 492 just outside of Morganfield.

McMain and Wood were not wearing seatbelts.

Wood later died at the hospital.

A gag order has been issued in the case.
