EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Vanderburgh County Coroner released the cause of death for a man found in Pigeon Creek over the weekend.
An autopsy revealed 67-year-old Raymond Stayancho, of Evansville, died from drowning.
Stayancho was found in Pigeon Creek near the Ohio River on Sunday afternoon.
An officer was patrolling that area on a four-wheeler when they found his body in the creek.
This is an ongoing investigation.
