CDC reporting new cases of Measles

Local News

The Center for Disease Control is reporting new cases of the Measles.

The agency says at least 228 cases of Measles have been reported across the US this year in 12 states, including Illinois and Kentucky.

Two of the larger outbreaks are in Washington state and New York.

The disease was eliminated in the US in 2000.

But it’s common in many other countries, which is how the current outbreaks started.
