Celebration of Life begins for Glennden ‘Superman’ Stovall


EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A Celebration of Life ceremony began Thursday for a local teenager who died on Christmas Eve.

Glennden Stovall, nicknamed ‘Superman,’ was born with Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome.

The syndrome causes neurological and behavioral abnormalities.

The ceremony started at 4 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home’s North Chapel.

Visitation lasts until 8 p.m. Thursday.

Glennden’s condition grew worse last Monday.

By Tuesday, he had passed away.

The family agreed to donate all his organs to several recipients.

St. Vincent honored Glennden with an Honor Walk, surrounded by his friends and family.

Funeral services will take place Friday.
