Two volunteers with the Court Appointed Special Advocated (CASA) Program from Henderson County are being sworn in to serve in Union County on Wednesday.
The two will be sworn in at 1 p.m. in the Family Court Room at the Union County Courthouse.
Henderson County CASA is currently recruiting potential volunteers in Union County that will be trained and then commissioned.
This is part of planned expansion of the program into Union County.
CASA recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children.
