Cindy Ledbetter announces run for District 75 state representative

NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) – A Warrick County councilmember is entering the race for state representative in District 75, encompassing most of Warrick, southern Pike, and southwestern Spencer counties.

Cindy Ledbetter, a nurse practitioner, will be running as a Republican for the seat currently held by State Rep. Ron Bacon.

Bacon, a Republican, is not seeking re-election.

Attorney Rick Martin is also running as a Republican.

In November, Democrat John Hurley announced that he would be running again.

Hurley, an educator, previously ran for state representative in 2018.
