DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) A Daviess County sewer project – years in the making – is finally under construction.
Contractors are starting to install two miles of sewer lines from the Cedar Hills subdivision outside Owensboro.
The new lines will connect to the regional water resource agency’s sewer system.
The agency took over the neighborhood’s sewer system a few years ago.
Old package treatment plants that ran the system will be shut down once a new pump station is in place.
