Construction underway on Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s Cheetah Chase

SANTA CLAUS, Ind. (WEHT) – Construction is underway for Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s newest water coaster – Cheetah Chase.

It will be the amusement park’s third water coaster. But it will be the first launched water coaster in the world, featuring two ProSlide rocketBLAST powered racing slides with more than 1,700 feet of track.

Crews are finishing up the first phase of construction, according to the Holiday World.

The next phase will be to continue with the fiberglass and start on the station.

The seven-million-dollar project is scheduled to open in May.
