(WEHT) – The finish line is in sight for Interstate 69 in Indiana.
INDOT has awarded a $164 million contract to upgrade six miles of State Road 37 in Martinsville to interstate standards.
It’s the second major contract awarded for the I-69 finish line.
The sixth and final leg of the project between Evansville and Indianapolis will close State Road 37 in Martinsville in 2021.
Construction should take about three years.
