Convicted felon found with firearms, drugs

Cleaton, KY (WEHT) A western Kentucky man is arrested after authorities say they found prohibited firearms, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia in his home.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, searched the home of Christopher Thomason, 30, on Nonell Cutoff Rd. in Cleaton on January 28.

Thomason was arrested on several charges including possession of a handgun by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, and drug trafficking.

A mug shot of Thomason was not immediately available.
