Credit card skimmer found on pump at gas station in Dubois County

DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A credit card skimmer has been found on a pump at a gas station in Dubois County.

According to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, they received a tip that there was fraudulent activity connected to a gas pump at the Circle A Food Mart (Fast Break) in St. Anthony.

The sheriff’s office says the device may have been in place for as long as 10 days.

Anyone who has used a card at pumps at that location should monitor their credit/debit cards closely for any fraudulent charges. Those charges may or may not be from the Louisville, KY area.

If you think you’ve been or could be a victim, call you bank immediately.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident.
