Crews making progress on Swiss Plywood building cleanup

Local News

TELL CITY, Ind. (WEHT) – Crews are making progress on the Swiss Plywood building cleanup in Tell City.

Officials say the cleanup should be completed by next week. They also say a large portion of the building will be salvaged and could be back in use by mid-February.

Workers were also able to save a corner of the building which had historical markings from floods and other events.

Investigators determined the cause of the fire came from sparks from a tool that workers were using in the building.
