Update: Vehicle sparks house fire on Evansville’s north side

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A vehicle sparked a home fire early Monday morning in Vanderburgh County.

It happened just before 5AM on Pleasant Ridge Drive.

This is just west of Pigeon Creek between North Green River Rd. and Oak Hill.

Several crews, including McCutchanville, assisted with the fire.

It took about twenty minutes to get the flames under control.

There were no serious injuries.

There was a lot of damage, but the home is not considered to be a loss.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Fire crews have been called to a fire at a home in Evansville early Monday.

Evansville Dispatch said the fire scene is in the 5100 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive. The home is west of Pigeon Creek, between North Green River Road and Oak Hill.

Several crews including McCutchanville are helping respond to the fire. The call came in around 5:00 a.m., and the fire was reported out around 5:20 a.m.
