Traffic is now back open in Newburgh. Vectren working to repair the gas line. John H. Castle Elementary had to be evacuated for precautionary reasons. No kids were there since school hasn’t started.

Crews are responding to a gas leak near State Route 261 and Oak Grove Rd. in Warrick County.
Officials tell Eyewitness News a contractor struck a line in the area.
Vectren crews are on scene to assess the damage.
