Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – John Westercamp announced he is running for the Republican nomination for Indiana attorney general, facing off against Republican incumbent Curtis Hill in 2020.

This announcement of a primary challenge comes after Hill was accused of drunkenly groping four women at a party.

Several Republican leaders asked him to step down.

Hill faces an October hearing in front of a disciplinary commission on possible sanctions.
