Daviess County Declares State of Emergency

Daviess County, Kentucky is declaring a state of emergency on Friday.

Officials say damage from the storm and the loss of electricity prompted the decision.

The emergency declaration says large amounts of debris need to be removed following damage to both homes and businesses.

Hopkins County did the same thing before Thursday’s storms.

Hopkins County is dealing with extreme flooding issues.
