Local News

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – The Daviess County Public Library continues to recover from a recent ransomware attack.

Library officials said they finished their inventory and will reopen on Friday.

The library is adding material received since April 30.

Nearly all services will be restored but patrons still won’t be able to access online accounts until June 1.

Officials also said they will not charge overdue fines for the month of May.

The library’s computer system was affected by ransomware late last month.
