A recanvass for a Kentucky Statehouse race confirms its first tally.
It showed former State Representative Jim Glenn, beating current State Representative DJ Johnson by one vote.
Glenn says he’s pleased at the process and results while Johnson says he’s still considering a full recount.
“I was happy that the public got a chance to see that every vote counts, which is what we saw in the basic election,” Jim Glenn said.
“It went as expected. I didn’t expect any changes. At this point, we’re still in the process, step one. I’m meeting with the team, talking with them to consider a recount,” DJ Johnson said.
Daviess County clerks say any candidate who requests a recount has to cover the cost.
