EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Deaconess has been recognized as the second-best hospital in Indiana by US News & World Report for a second year.
Deaconess tied for the number two spot out of more than 160 hospitals statewide.
The annual Best Hospitals rankings are now in their 30th year.
“Being named the number 2 hospital in the state by U.S. News & World Report —for a second year in a row—is a significant achievement for all of Deaconess,” said Shawn McCoy, CEO, Deaconess Health System. “The rankings from this organization are related to quality, safety and outcomes. To be recognized two years in a row shows an ongoing, consistent commitment to quality by our medical staff, leadership, employees and volunteers. These are the individuals who have made Deaconess the exceptional health system it is today.”
