WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is investigating more than a dozen dead fish in Little Pigeon Creek.
Officials believe they were killed by someone archery fishing and left there.
The fish were found on the banks of the creek near Yankeetown in Warrick County.
It’s illegal to leave dead fish in the water.
Officers say it’s not uncommon for it to happen.
DNR hopes people are more responsible when archery fishing.
There is no concern about chemical spills.
