EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — According to the City of Evansville, an Evansville Police Department detective has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a press release, the detective has not reported to work since Tuesday, March 24. EPD Chief Billy Bolin reported the positive case to all department staff shortly after being notified Saturday afternoon.
