EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A former Evansville hotel has a new owner.

An unnamed developer from Indianapolis has agreed to purchase the old Ramada Inn.

The hotel is located at Lynch Rd. and Highway 41.

The agent in charge of the sale said the developer is unsure if he will reopen the hotel or tear it down.

The hotel has been for sale for three years, but it has only been closed for about two weeks.

The price tag for the hotel and adjoining gas station was $1.3 million.

An adjoining 18 acres of agricultural land was sold to another buyer.
