The Los Angeles Dodgers and manager Don Mattingly are reportedly parting ways.
MLB.com reports an announcement is expected to be made Thursday regarding Mattingly’s departure after managing the Dodgers for five seasons.
Mattingly is an Evansville native, six-time All-Star, the 1985 American League MVP.
In his first position as manager of an MLB club, he took the Dodgers to a 446-363 record and three straight National League West titles.
Despite the Dodgers three straight trips to the playoffs, the team only had a single post-season victory.
