Donut Bank is serving up a special Texas-themed cookie on Thursday.
It’s part of the Tri-State Cares Mediathon raising money for Hurricane Harvey victims. All proceeds from the cookies will go to the American Red Cross relief efforts.
Donut Bank officials say it was an easy decision to make.
“We’ve all had bad days,” said Donut Bank Vice President Joe Kempf, “but we have a house to go home to. So, this is something that we could directly impact. I know it’s small, but if enough of us do our little part, maybe we’ll make a big difference for these people.”
The cookies are only available Thursday while supplies last. Donut Bank is also accepting cash donations for the Red Cross.
