WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – There are reports that say Dotiki Mine in Clay will shut down in a matter of weeks.
The Webster Journal Enterprise is citing sources, saying the mine will close on August 16th.
The Enterprise reports Dotiki has been in operation since 1967.
According to Alliance Resource Partners website, the mine produces two and a half million tons of coal a year.
