Local News

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Donations are coming in for people who lost their home in the Simple Rewards fire in Henderson earlier this week.

Lindsay Locasto, of the Downtown Henderson Partnership, says they’ve delivered three truck loads full of winter coats, blankets and other clothes.

Another four bags of clothes collected at Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District’s office.

More than a dozen people living at Simple Rewards lost their home after a fire early Wednesday morning.

“We didn’t know what to expect, but the community really showed up and is really bringing a lot of great things for the displaced residents.”

Donations will be accepted at Downtown Henderson Partnership offices on North Water Street until Wed., Nov. 27th.
