Drivers react to gas price increase

Local News

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The price of a gallon of gasoline jumped over 40 cents on the Henderson strip overnight.

Eyewitness News spoke with customers on the strip Tuesday, finding out what they thought about the bump at the pump.

One driver we spoke with said she was able to get gas four days ago for $2.12 per gallon. On Tuesday, the cost of regular gas was $2.49 per gallon.

The price increase was predicted, following the attacks on Saudi Arabian oil fields.
