After Dubois County was hit by severe flooding over a week ago, county officials are now having to change the hours for debris drop off.
This is because of illegal dumping at the Huntingburg Street Department.
Effective immediately, the gates will only be open from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day this week.
That means tree limb and recycling drop-off will only be available during these hours.
Officials will not collect items that contain freon, such as refrigerators or air conditioners.
Again, this service is only for debris related to last week’s flooding.
