Dubois County school resource officer rescues bird from car

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – According to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office social media page, Officer Lampert saved a trapped bird from a car’s grill.

Police officials say they believe the bird is a kestrel. Officials say the bird is safe and sound, and conservation officers from Indiana DNR Division of Law Enforcement District 7 will ensure that it receives the care it needs.
