EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The American Red Cross announced that Duke Energy donated $10,000 in support of disaster relief.
The funding will go towards food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support, recovery planning, and other assistance during disasters.
“Parts of southern Indiana were hit hard by severe weather earlier this month in addition to other parts of the country,” said Duke Energy Indiana President Stan Pinegar. “The Red Cross is always there when disasters strike, and we want to support their good work.”
