Duo arrested on drug trafficking charges in Hopkins Co.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) – Drug complaints at a trailer park in Madisonville end with two arrests.

Kenneth Vannoy and Ashley Drugash are charged with trafficking meth, trafficking synthetic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Monday, detectives with the Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit were conducting surveillance near Victoria Trailer Park in Madisonville.

Detectives received complaints and anonymous tips that Vannoy and Drugash were trafficking illegal drugs from their camper.

Detectives saw Vannoy standing outside the camper around 5 p.m. They say he had an active warrant so, they made contact and arrested him.

They also made contact with Vannoy’s girlfriend, Ashley Drugash.

Detectives found a large quantity of synthetic marijuana, large amount of crystal meth, and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking, along with a large amount of cash.

Both were arrested and taken to the Hopkins County Jail.

This is an ongoing investigation.
