VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — Vanderburgh County sheriff’s deputies responded to University Parkway Wednesday after a truck was hit by a bald eagle.
An Indiana Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer took custody of the bird, which is now being treated by a veterinarian.
Deputies say the eagle’s prognosis is not encouraging but will provide any updates on Facebook.
