HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Henderson County Sheriff’s deputy was filing a report in his cruiser around 4:00 a.m. Thursday morning when he noticed smoke in the sky.
The deputy drove just a few miles away to a home on Partridge Run that was covered in flames. After notifying neighbors of the fire, lawns were filled with firefighters and onlookers.
At least a dozen firefighters and multiple tanker trucks sprayed water on the home that suffered heavy damage. In less than an hour the fire was put out.
Henderson firefighters also had to spray a home next door that suffered damage to siding from heat.
No one was injured in the fire. Neighbors tell Eyewitness News the home was in the process of being renovated.
