Evansville Police arrested 42 year old Gary Liggett, after they say he made threats with a gun and barricaded himself inside his home Wednesday night.
Police were called to the north side after first responders say a woman was threatened by her fiance with a gun.
She ran outside and dialed 9-1-1.
That's when police say Liggett barricaded himself inside the home.
After about an hour of negotiation, SWAT sent in tear gas and Liggett came out.
Liggett is charged with criminal recklessness while armed with a deadly weapon and intimidation.
He has no bond.
